This is an artisanal, luxury modern expression of traditional Chinese cereal wine: the Mansong "Zhencang" (慢宋·珍藏) Qing Shuang Huangjiu. Presented in an elegant celadon-inspired ceramic bottle within a minimalist linen presentation box, Mansong redefines classic Shaoxing-style yellow rice wine for contemporary fine dining, specifically crafted to be enjoyed chilled at 12–15°C. Fermented from premium glutinous rice, wheat qu, and pure water, this "Qing Shuang" (crisp and refreshing) reserve style departs from overly heavy, oxidized profiles in favor of pure, translucent complexity and lift. The nose opens with an elegant, layered bouquet of dried apricots, sweet plums, and orange peel, intertwined with toasted hazelnut, honeyed wheat, subtle warm spice, and a delicate savory umami undertone. On the palate, it is silken, medium-bodied, and beautifully balanced at 15% ABV, pairing mellow grains and gentle natural sweetness with a clean, vibrant acidity that extends into a lingering, refreshing, and appetizing finish.
