As one of the original five First Growths (Premiers Crus) of the 1855 Classification, Haut-Brion holds a unique position in Bordeaux history. It is the only First Growth located outside the Médoc, situated in the Pessac-Léognan appellation of the Graves region, and is renowned for its inimitable smoky and earthy aromatics.

The 1993 vintage in Bordeaux was a classic "Left Bank" year, characterized by a rainy harvest that required meticulous selection in the vineyard. Now over 30 years old, this bottle is fully mature, it has evolved into a graceful, medium-bodied masterpiece, offering a silken texture and the kind of intellectual depth that only a mature First Growth can provide.
