As the largest landowner in the Clos de la Roche vineyard, Ponsot’s signature style is defined by a deeply traditional, low-intervention approach—eschewing new oak, filtering, or fining to let the true terroir speak.

Now with substantial bottle age, the 1995 vintage has evolved into a complex, mature expression of old-vine Pinot Noir. It leads with a rustic and expressive bouquet of dried cherries, sweet liquorice, forest floor, and distinctive hints of white pepper and spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, showing a silky fruit mid-palate balanced by resolved, tertiary tannins and a lingering, savory finish.
