Description
The 2011 vintage in Napa Valley was one of the most challenging in history—marked by a cold spring, a cool summer, and late-season rains. While many producers struggled to achieve ripeness, Screaming Eagle excelled by leaning into a more "European" or "Bordeaux-like" style. The winemaker, Nick Gislason, famously used his experience with cool-climate viticulture to produce a wine that is more about finesse, aromatics, and precision than raw power. At 15 years old, this 2011 is in a beautiful drinking window.
