This is an ultra-premium, world-class Grand Cru Burgundy from arguably the most legendary and collected estate in Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Armand Rousseau. Clos de Bèze is historically revered for producing wines of otherworldly aromatic complexity, silkiness, and aristocratic grace, frequently showing a more perfumed and seductive personality in its youth than its neighbor, Le Chambertin.
The 2013 vintage is highly regarded by Burgundy purists as a classic, cool-climate vintage that beautifully highlights terroir definition, structural energy, and precision. Having developed magnificently over more than a decade in the bottle, this wine has entered a spectacular drinking window.
