2018 Gaja Alteni di Brassica

Description

The name "Alteni di Brassica" is a tribute to the local landscape: Alteni refers to the small stone walls that historically surrounded orchards in the region, and Brassica is the yellow flower that carpets the vineyards in spring. Unlike many Sauvignon Blancs designed for immediate consumption, Gaja ferment and age this wine in oak (barriques) for approximately 6 to 8 months.
