This is a vibrant, artisanal gem from one of Vosne-Romanée’s most exciting and rapidly ascending new generation estates: the Domaine Boigey Frères Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2023. Helmed by brothers Olivier and Guillaume Boigey—whose family has cultivated coveted parcels in Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges for generations before estate-bottling their own wines—this regional bottling overdelivers with village-level pedigree and immaculate craftsmanship. Sourced from prime vineyard holdings, vinified with gentle extraction, partial whole clusters, and aging in fine French oak, it pours a bright, translucent ruby in the glass. The nose is immediate, pure, and aromatic, bursting with fresh red cherries, wild strawberries, and crunchy cranberries, accented by crushed rose petals, sweet spice, subtle tea leaves, and an appetizing touch of limestone minerality. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, juicy, and energetic, defined by bright, thirst-quenching acidity, silk-spun tannins, and a remarkably fresh, clean, and charming red-berry finish.

Its buoyant red fruit, silky tannins, and refreshing acidity also make it a versatile partner for charcuterie boards (prosciutto, saucisson sec, and terrines), mushroom risotto, pork loin with rosemary, or young-to-medium aged cheeses such as Brie de Meaux, Reblochon, and Comté.
