Sullivans Cove is the distillery that put Australian spirits on the world map when its French Oak expression was named the "World’s Best Single Malt" in 2014. It remains the most iconic and decorated distillery in Tasmania, known for its small-batch, single-cask philosophy.
The "French Oak" series is the flagship of the Sullivans Cove range. Unlike many whiskies that are blended from hundreds of barrels, every bottle of Sullivans Cove Single Cask comes from one specific barrel, meaning every release has its own unique personality. This expression is matured in 300-liter French oak casks that previously held Australian tawny (port-style) wine.
